Installation Quote
Once you have emailed our sales and support team with your car audio enquiry regarding installation and fitting of your product; we will endeavour to return your call within 24 hours. Our professionally trained call centre staff know you may be working so we will email you or send you a text with your quote. Once you have spoken to a dedicated account agent they will prepare a quote broken down into 3 sections.
Section 1: Price for main goods
Section 2: Price for accessory cables
Section 3: Price for labour
All prices are inclusive and with no hidden charges!
Once you are happy with your quote you can choose to pay in full over the phone with your UK Credit Card and obtain a booking reference. You will be assigned a MESF trained engineer who will liaise with you pre-install and arrange a suitable time and place of install. Our engineers are always dressed in their company uniform and carry ID. Please don’t be afraid to ask for ID. It’s all part of industry standards set out by MESF.
Our engineer will explain why he is here and for the installation you have paid for. Don’t be afraid to ask questions as to where the goods will be located, it’s your vehicle! Once the installation in complete our engineer will test it first and then take you through the menus so that you the consumer are 100% happy with our installation work.
Your invoice and warranty will be prepared for you and left with you once the installation work is complete. Helpful Tip
The question of integration cables often opens up a lively debate, why should you use branded vehicle specific cable as opposed to none branded ones.
Here is a perfect example.
Fit4caraudio engineers went out to install a steering wheel control adaptor for a Parrot Car Kit, the CK3000evo into a 2011 plate BMW 3 series. Both the Car Kit and the steering wheel control adaptor was new and boxed, however the SWC cable was made from a third party source and not by Parrot.
Once the install was complete the customer was complaining of inconsistent usability from his SWC. Sometimes it would work and sometimes he was getting no control at all. We suggested that he should have bought the Parrot Multican Steering Wheel control module and that would work perfectly!
We went back to the install with the Parrot module. Post install the whole Car Kit and SWC works perfectly with no reports of any problems. Unfortunately it has cost our client double the labour because they supplied the goods.
